Who We Are
Welcome to The DIY Listing! My name is Ida and I am the proud owner/broker and founder. I am so happy that you are learning about our company and what we do, and I would love to share how we came to be.
For almost 23 years I worked for a Fortune 100 company as an executive in Information Technology and Human Resources. While I cherished and appreciated all of my career opportunities, successes, and time spent with many great coworkers, I came to a cross-road as a mother of two young children. I ultimately made a decision to leave my corporate career and pursue my interests in real estate, giving me more flexibility and precious time with my daughters.
Over the last six years I have continued to learn more about the business, and having owned multiple properties myself, I realized that the process of selling real estate is just that, merely a process. If this process can be broken down and simplified into manageable steps that someone can follow, why should we have to pay someone else thousands of dollars? I know the value, hard work and sacrifices it has taken you to save money and buy real estate, and I feel a duty to help protect your assets.
Utilizing my business education, years of experience in IT and HR, real estate knowledge and desire to make a positive impact on others, the idea for The DIY Listing was born. It is my mission to put you, our client, at the center of everything we do.
